Our pigging services utilise specially designed pigs that navigate through pipelines to remove debris and contaminants, improving flow efficiency and extending the lifespan of your infrastructure.

During operations, the internal sensor arrays will scan the pipeline for temperature and pressure corrosion/metal loss, diameter, bends and curvature, cracks, weld defects, surface pitting and areas of crushing/deformation. API 1163 covers aspects of in-line inspection systems.

Our services

Pigging

It is the process of inserting devices known as pigs into pipelines mainly to remove accumulated solids and debris. Pigging can be conducted on a variety of pipelines sizes without having to stop the flow of material through the line.

In-line inspection (ILI)

is a technique in which devices ‘pigs’ are fitted with various non destructive examination technologies that can scan the pipe through which they travel. Non destructive testing methods commonly used include :

Magnetic Flux Leakage

With magnetic flux, a strong magnetic field is used to discover damaged areas of the pipe. A sensor detects the magnetic flux leakage and records the area of damage.



Ultrasonic Testing

With this method, high frequency sound waves are used to determine wall thickness and detect cracks.
