Previously, Mohamed was Professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Tripoli. He was also founder and CEO of the Advanced Centre of Technology (ACT) in Tripoli. In its heyday this institution had c.1,400 employees and boasted the latest CNC labs and metal fabrication workshops in the country. Presently, he oversees the Sail Group of Companies.
